Baltimore Police Runners and Charity Chaser Raise More Than $16,000 for Signal 13 Foundation at the Baltimore 10-Miler

Officer Greg Bragg passed more than 2,400 runners as the 2026 Charity Chaser, helping raise $16,126 to support Baltimore Police officers and their families through the Signal 13 Foundation.

The Signal 13 Foundation extends its sincere thanks to the Corrigan Sports team and all of the Baltimore Police runners who represented Signal 13 at the 2026 Baltimore 10-Miler.

A highlight of this year’s event was Baltimore Police Officer Greg Bragg serving as the Baltimore 10-Miler’s Charity Chaser. Starting at the back of the field, Officer Bragg challenged himself to pass as many runners as possible during the race. For every runner he passed, Corrigan Sports made a donation to support the Signal 13 Foundation. By the time he crossed the finish line, Officer Bragg had passed more than 2,400 runners, helping raise $16,126 for Signal 13.

Organized by Corrigan Sports, the Baltimore 10-Miler has become one of the region’s premier running events and an important fundraising platform for local charities. Held annually in and around Druid Hill Park, the race attracts thousands of runners from across Maryland and beyond while showcasing some of Baltimore’s most historic and scenic areas.

The Charity Chaser program has become a signature tradition of the event. Each year, a selected runner begins at the back of the field, with donations tied directly to the number of participants they pass during the 10-mile course. The program combines athletic achievement with charitable giving while generating awareness and support for local nonprofit organizations.

Signal 13 has been a longtime charity partner of the Baltimore 10-Miler. Funds raised through the event help support the Foundation’s mission of providing financial assistance to Baltimore Police Department personnel experiencing unexpected hardships and offering scholarships to the dependent children of active Baltimore Police officers. The partnership between Corrigan Sports and Signal 13 has helped raise critical support and awareness for Baltimore’s law enforcement community for many years.

“We are grateful to Corrigan Sports, Officer Greg Bragg, and every Baltimore Police officer, family member, volunteer, donor, and supporter who helped make this year’s event such a success,” said Signal 13 CEO Nancy Hinds. “The funds raised through the Baltimore 10-Miler directly support our ability to assist members of the Baltimore Police Department and their families when they need it most.”

The Signal 13 Foundation thanks everyone who participated in this year’s Baltimore 10-Miler and helped make a meaningful difference for Baltimore’s first responders and their families. Together, these efforts ensure that Signal 13 can continue providing assistance when Baltimore Police officers and their loved ones need it most.
