Brown Advisory Co-CEO Michael Hankin Joins the Signal 13 Foundation Board
The Signal 13 Foundation is pleased to announce that Michael D. Hankin, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Partner of Brown Advisory, has joined its Board of Directors.
Hankin is a longtime Baltimore business and civic leader with a strong commitment to giving back to the community. He has been with Brown Advisory since 1993 and served as the firm’s CEO from 1998 until transitioning to Co-CEO in 2025. Under his leadership, Brown Advisory has grown from its Baltimore roots into a global investment management and strategic advisory firm.
Beyond his business leadership, Hankin has devoted significant time to organizations serving Baltimore and the broader community. He serves as Chairman of the Baltimore Healthy Harbor Project and is an Emeritus Trustee of both Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Medicine. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Baltimore Committee and other national nonprofit and business organizations.
