Signal 13 Foundation’s Award for Academic Excellence

It is always an honor to present the Signal 13 Foundation’s Award for Academic Excellence to a deserving graduate of the Baltimore Police Academy. The Class of 22-04 winner was a cop in NYC, switched careers to teach in Brooklyn, and is now a sworn Baltimore City Police Officer who says, “cops work harder in Baltimore…but the BPD is a place with unlimited potential.” Well said Officer Claude Policart, who is also getting his Masters at Hopkins and carries a 4.0 GPA. CEO Nancy Hinds and Board Director Frank Boston are pictured with the award winner.
