Signal 13 Welcomes New Board Member

The Signal 13 Foundation is pleased to announce that Cheri Cernak has joined its Board of Directors. Signal 13 is a local nonprofit that supports Baltimore City Police with financial hardship grants and college scholarships for their children.

Cheri Cernak is the President and Owner of CRC Restaurants Inc., a family-owned restaurant group. CRC has three restaurants at BWI Thurgood Marshall International Airport – Obrycki’s Restaurant & Bar, and two R&R Seafood Bars – which are now managed as a joint venture with HMS Host. CRC started out as Obrycki’s on Pratt Street in Baltimore City, a famous crab house for locals and visitors from around the world. Working at BWI and seeing firsthand the difficulties many employees experienced trying to get to and from work, Cheri is passionate about improving Maryland’s transit system used by so many of her employees. She is a current member of the Central Maryland Transportation Alliance Board. She also sits on the Board of the Anchorage Tower Condominium Association.
