Signal 13 Donates Refrigerators to Police Districts

As summer flies by for most of you, the Signal 13 Foundation is making every minute count for the men and women of the Baltimore City Police Department who are on the streets serving the people of Baltimore. In July, the Signal 13 Foundation donated commercial-size refrigerators to each of the nine police districts. The refrigerators will be filled with water, Gatorade, and other refreshments for the officers to enjoy during their shift. It is our way of saying thank you for your service to Baltimore.

Lt. Suzanne Fries from BPD Northern District (in a sweatshirt) pitched in to help along with BPD Liaison Jerry Heid. Thank you for your service to the citizens of Baltimore!

About the Signal 13 Foundation

The Signal 13 Foundation is an independent nonprofit that is not affiliated with the Baltimore Police Department or the FOP. Every dollar we raise comes from individual donors, foundations, and corporate grants.  Your support is more important than ever to continue our mission. The Baltimore Police Department continues to struggle with the recruitment and retention of qualified police officers.  With your support, the Signal 13 Foundation can help reverse that trend by providing more resources for our first responders.  Retaining qualified and experienced police officers should be a priority for everyone who cares about Baltimore.
